Rue vieille du temple
All of this in one of the most unique locations in the heart of historical
Paris: the Marais. Rich in history and surrounded by impressive culture,
this is an area guaranteed to please everyone, whether it be art lovers,
shopping victims, gourmet lovers or night owls.
The location
Our studio is located on the corner of Rue
Vieille du Temple and Rue Barbette in the 3rd Arrondissement (Le Marais)
across from Hotel de Rohan and the current National Archives. It’s
a two-minute walk from the Centre Pompidou, the Musèe Picasso,
Hotel de Sully, Musèe de Carnavalet and the most beautiful square
in Paris: the famous Place des Vosges. Only a stone’s throw away
are the banks of the Seine, the splendid Notre Dame Cathedral, the Bastille
with the new Paris Opera, the underground and lively Forum des Halles,
as well as the 11th Arrondissement with its unique artistic charm of young,
multi-cultural and alternative shops.
In the center of this quarter, which couldn’t be more diverse, is the orthodox Jewish Rue des Rosiers and the Gay Village on Rue St. Croix de la Bretonnerie with its shops, bars and bistros.

The
building, the studio, and its furnishings
Our small studio (25m2) is in a spacious 17th/18th century corner building
in the typical architectural style of the Marais. It has high ceilings,
visible crossbeams and two large windows which provide a view of the Hotel
de Rohan and natural light all year. Currently, the studio is being painstakingly
renovated and comfortably furnished. (Quicktime

It is equipped with a bathroom which has a shower, a sink and its own
boiler (hot-water heater). In spite of the numerous and tempting restaurants
in the neighborhood, the modern and fully equipped kitchen is inviting
to cook in (let yourself be inspired by the delicacies at the Parisien
markets!). Or how about starting the morning with a big café au
lait and a slice of raisin bread from one of the local bakeries?
The designer sofa bed sleeps two people comfortably and can conveniently
be converted during the day to allow for additional room. Want to bury
yourself in a book on an uninviting rainy day? No book? No problem. The
bookshop at the Centre Pompidou is open even on Sundays until 10 o’clock
pm and has a dangerously enticing selection of art books!
On business in Paris?
The folding table is ideal for working and a telephone/wifi connection
is also available. The nearby Metro station Rambuteau/Centre
Pompidou offers a connection to the RER-station Chatelet-Les Halles
from which the conference center and other places in the city such as
the Orly airport, Roissy/Charles de Gaulle and other train stations are
quickly and easily accessible.

The following are our prices and conditions:
Mini-Week-End (2 nights): CHF 300.- (EURO 300.-)
Special-Week-End (3 nights): CHF 390.- (EURO 390.-)
Week (7 nights): CHF 840.- (EURO 840.-)
Month (29 nights): CHF 1900.- (EURO 1900.-)
Additional night CHF 115.- (EURO 110.-).
The rent, depending on the length of stay, is to be paid in full in advance
with a deposit. The deposit will be reimbursed approximately one month
after your stay. Check-in is at 2 o’clock pm and check-out at 12
o’clock pm.

How do I pay?
For Swiss residents payments can be made by pay-in slip. For foreign residents
payments can be made online through Pay
Pal or with an international moneytransfer through your bank. Upon
payment, the key, along with an information brochure, will be sent to
you by mail a few days before your stay.

You need to bring with you a fitted bed sheet, a duvet cover, pillow cases (160x200 and 50x60) and kitchen and bath towels.
The fine print
Included in the price of the rent are the utility costs of electricity (lighting, heating, and hot water) and water. The telephone costs (France Télécom charges) are not included. You are responsible for cleaning the apartment after your stay and cleaning products are at your disposal. If the apartment is not thoroughly cleaned, we charge a cleaning fee of CHF150.-, which will be deducted from the deposit. Depending on the length of your stay, a cleaning service, if desired, can be organized. The tenant is also fully responsible for any damage to the apartment. Pets are not welcome and we ask you kindly not to smoke in the studio. Terms for cancellations: 100% reimbursement for cancellations made 21 days before the first day, 50% for 14 days, and 25% for 7 days. After 7 days no reimbursement is made.
